Behavioral Pediatric Services

Support for everyday challenges that impact families, routines, and development.

Kids in Slide

We help children and their caregivers navigate common behavioral concerns using a short-term, science-based approach that promotes meaningful change at home, at school, and in the community.

We work with families to address:

  • Sleep struggles and bedtime resistance

  • Anxiety-related behaviors (avoidance, separation fears, school refusal)

  • Picky eating and mealtime battles

  • Toileting delays, withholding, and regression

  • Tantrums, aggression, and noncompliance

  • Behavior challenges related to transitions, routines, and emotional regulation

  • Tic disorders, trichotillomania, and other body-focused repetitive behaviors

What to Expect

  • Initial Assessment (2–3 sessions): We’ll explore the function of the behavior, conduct a child observation, and collaborate with caregivers to identify goals.

  • Treatment Planning: You'll receive a personalized, evidence-based plan with practical strategies to use at home or in the classroom.

  • Follow-up Sessions: Based on the complexity of the concern, we offer weekly, biweekly, or monthly check-ins to support implementation, adjust strategies, and track progress.

  • Results-Oriented: Most families see noticeable improvement within 1–6 sessions.

All pediatric services are available via telehealth, in-home (select areas),

in partnership with local clinics and schools, or at our Addison or Frisco Offices.
