Welcome to Modiv Behavioral
Understanding Behavior, Creating Change
Hi, I'm Melissa Druskis

I'm a Clinical Behavior Analyst and the founder of Modiv Behavioral. I’ve spent the past 10+ years helping children, teens, and adults overcome behavioral challenges using practical, science-backed methods that actually work. With a background in behavioral science, neuroscience, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT), and Habit Reversal Training (HRT), I bring a unique, integrative approach to behavior change that focuses on what matters most: helping people move forward in their lives.

At Modiv, we understand that behavior is communication. Whether it's a toddler refusing to sleep, a child avoiding school, or a teen stuck in patterns of perfectionism or anxiety, we look beneath the surface to understand the function of the behavior—what purpose it serves—and build a tailored plan to create sustainable change.
The Science Behind What We Do
Our work is rooted in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Clinical Behavior Analysis, which focus on using evidence-based techniques to understand and improve behavior.
We integrate this with:
-
ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy): helping clients clarify their values and take action despite anxiety or distress
-
DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy): teaching emotional regulation and distress tolerance skills
-
CBIT & HRT: proven behavioral interventions for tics, hair-pulling, and other repetitive behaviors
-
Neuroscience-informed strategies: supporting behavior change with insights into brain function and development
Together, these approaches create a powerful foundation for treating a wide range of concerns—from pediatric behavioral challenges to adult habit change and emotional patterns—in a way that is collaborative, effective, and deeply respectful of the individual.
